India and globally, we are seeking a Senior HR Manager to drive strategic HR operations and
shape a resilient, purpose-driven, performance-focused workforce, and help build the
organizational vision.
Role Overview
As a Senior HR Manager, you will lead the human resources function with a strong focus on
strategic workforce planning, compliance, operations, and culture-building. You will play a
critical advisory role to the leadership team in organizational design, talent forecasting, and
the implementation of systems that support scalable and compliant growth.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic HR Leadership
- Forecast talent needs in alignment with business expansion and clinical operations
across verticals.
- Advise founders on workforce planning, organizational design, and structuring for
scale.
- Evaluate, recommend, and implement HR tools such as HRMS and payroll systems to
enhance efficiency.
- Update HR policies in accordance with evolving Indian labor laws and healthcare-
specific compliance needs.
Talent Acquisition
- Lead end-to-end recruitment: JD creation, sourcing, screening, scheduling, and
closures.
- Optimize offer-to-join ratios and build strong hiring pipelines across functions.
- Enhance eMbrace’s employer brand across platforms and networks.
- Build and maintain talent pipelines for clinical (therapists, psychologists) and non-
clinical roles.
Onboarding & Induction
- Design and implement seamless onboarding processes and orientation programs.
- Create induction kits, run buddy systems, and develop feedback loops for continuous
improvement.
- Track probation period evaluations and confirm confirmation processes.
Payroll & Compliance
- Collect and verify monthly payroll inputs (attendance, leave, reimbursements, LOPs,
etc.).
- Liaise with finance or payroll vendors to ensure accurate, timely salary processing.
- Ensure full statutory compliance: PF, ESI, Gratuity, PT, Shops & Establishments Act,
etc.
Employee Engagement & Culture
- Lead monthly employee engagement initiatives, wellness activities, and celebration
events.
- Cultivate a positive, inclusive, and values-aligned work culture.
- Gather and act on employee feedback to improve retention and morale.
Generalist HR Operations
- Maintain accurate HR records, HRMIS, and dashboards for leadership review.
- Draft and execute HR policies, SOPs, and internal communications.
- Manage employee grievances, exit interviews, and full & final settlements.
- Support performance management, goal-setting, and appraisal processes.
Qualifications & Experience
- Master’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field.
- 7+ years of HR experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
- Strong understanding of Indian labor laws and HR compliance.
- Experience in healthcare, mental health, or social impact sectors preferred.
- Familiarity with HR tech platforms and payroll systems (e.g., Zoho, Keka, GreytHR,
etc.).
