As a Senior Manager, I&C & WPB Procurement you will lead a group of account managers and project procurement managers (PPMs) who work to support business forecasting, offer development and execution of complex procurements for our Instrumentation & Control (I&C) and Westinghouse Parts Business (WPB) business segments in the Americas region. The account management function is programmatic in nature, with responsibility to support business forecasting, offer development and business strategy, and lead resources across the procurement function in delivering direct procurements to support projects and revenue recognition for the business. The project procurement manager role leads project procurement activities to satisfy the complex procurement needs for various projects within the I&C and WPB segments. You will report to the Director, Americas Supply Chain and be located at our Cranberry Township, PA headquarters location. This is a hybrid role.
Aggregate demand from BU for corporate procurement and supplier activities (business opportunity identification, supplier SIOP)
Identify need to develop Supplier Strategies and lead implementation to support Business Unit Growth
Lead Bid and Proposal (B&P) identification and execution
Be the issue resolution contact for BU partners
Be the voice of the customer within the supply chain organization
Lead Get to Green (G2G) Process for BU segment to track important metrics, observe abnormal conditions and lead 9-step problem solving activities with supply chain functions to resolve issues
Lead Escalation Process for BU segment through our issue management database to monitor issue entry and identify supply chain resources to lead issue resolution
Oversee all project procurement activities (pre-PO and post-PO) with a focus on ensuring that you deliver components on budget, and meeting quality requirements.
Lead large-scale, high-complexity procurement projects, working with teams and using standard build, and report project implementation plans.
Partner with supply chain teams to assist with project planning and estimation of resource requirements.
Understand project delivery performance at BU level and lead management/resolution of variances with Procurement Program Management (PPM) and Supplier Performance Engineering (SPE) teams
Monitor active projects, updating status, eliminating roadblocks, and escalating issues. Communicate project changes.
Contribute to development of sourcing plans to minimize risks, create savings, and ensure predictive delivery through projects execution.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
We prefer a Master's Degree in Business Administration.
10+ years of experience in procurement, project management or engineering roles
Experience leading teams
Experience supporting complex, projects
Experience in customer-facing (internal or external) roles providing excellent customer service, customer demand planning, issue resolution and executive communications
Experience working within a SIOP process and developing customer demand inputs
Experience with vendor purchase order issuance, execution and administration
Experience in global sourcing and knowledge of regional supplier base
We are committed to transparency and equity in all of our people practices. The base salary range for this position, which is dependent upon experience, qualifications and skills, is estimated to be $126,000 to $157,500.
