We are currently seeking a dynamic Senior Manager - IT BRM Central Development to lead our strategic initiatives in Business Relationship Management within our IT department.
In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for overseeing the development and implementation of IT strategies that align with the overarching goals of the organization and facilitating collaboration between business units and IT.
Responsibilities
- Manage relationships: act as business agent in IT, advocate the interests of the business in IT.
- Build trust and strong relationships between IT and the Central Development business.
- Understand business needs: co define, refine and shape business needs, and anticipate business demand.
- Monitor progress: discuss IT project status with business stakeholders and share business feedback with the IT organization.
- Raise business technology awareness: ensure business is aware of IT capabilities and services, and the latest emerging technology trends that could positively impact the Development business.
Key Skills
- Stakeholder management and communication skills: manage senior business stakeholders, facilitate discussions, committees and C level reporting.
- Business domain knowledge: possess significant knowledge in Central planning, design, cost planning, and development management.
- Technical domain knowledge: strong understanding of IT systems relevant to Qiddiya Development business such as GIS and Project Controls.
- Analytical skills: convert requirements into optimal IT solutions and generate business related insights.
- Functional and process expertise: shape business IT demand, articulate technology roadmap and vision, develop business case, and manage IT projects in relevant industries (e.g., construction, real estate, local government).
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field; master's degree preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in IT management, with at least 5 years specifically in business relationship management.
- Extensive experience in business relationship management, business/IT alignment, implementation of technology strategy and platforms.
- Proven ability to lead strategic IT initiatives and manage multiple projects effectively within a complex environment.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
