Position Overview:

We are seeking an exceptional Senior Manager of Market Intelligence to join our team and play a pivotal role in identifying commercial opportunities arising from our cutting-edge research and technology labs. This position will be the critical link between our labs and the business units, providing strategic insights and recommendations to guide successful go-to-market strategies.

Responsibilities:

• Deeply understand our research pipelines and emerging technologies, across various domains including, defense, AI, cybersecurity, industrial products, and applied materials
• Conduct in-depth market research and competitive analysis to identify white space opportunities, customer needs, and market trends
• Work closely with lab researchers, principal investigators, and internal stakeholders to assess the commercial potential of technologies
• Develop business cases, financial models, and go-to-market roadmaps for promising lab innovations
• Identify potential partners, licensing opportunities, or spin-outs
• Provide insights on technology commercialization best practices

Experience and Qualifications

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree required, an advanced degree in business, science, engineering, or related field preferred
• 8+ years of experience in technology commercialization and product marketing
• At least 3+ years of MBB (McKinsey, Bain, BCG) management consulting experience (mandatory)
• Exceptional strategy and analytical skills with the ability to synthesize complex technical information
• Proven track record in assessing market potential, developing business plans, and driving strategic initiatives
• Strong communicator with the ability to build relationships across diverse stakeholders
• Entrepreneurial mindset and passion for turning innovative ideas into commercial success stories
• Proficiency in financial modeling and valuation methodologies
