Marketing at scale breaks without the right operational foundation. We're looking for a Senior Manager of Marketing Operations to own that foundation - and push it forward.
This is an experienced individual contributor with cross-functional leadership capabilities. You'll sit at the intersection of data, technology, and campaign execution — shaping how we reach customers across channels and ensuring every touchpoint is measurable, personalized, and optimized. You'll partner closely with Marketing, Product, Engineering, and Data to develop and manage systems that support Vivian’s lifecycle marketing strategy.
The right person for this role doesn't just build campaigns - they constantly strive for optimizing them You bring deep platform expertise (Braze experience is strongly preferred; Iterable experience is also considered), sharp analytical instincts, and a strong bias toward automation and scalable infrastructure.

Our CRM infrastructure is maturing and we need someone who can take it to the next level — not just maintain it. The analytical and technical gaps we're solving for are real, the scope is broad, and the impact is direct. You'll have ownership, visibility, and the tools to do the job well.
In 6 months, you will have:
Reduced manual operational overhead through automation, documentation, and standardized systems
Become the go-to technical and operational voice on lifecycle marketing infrastructure
Measurably improved deliverability, segmentation precision, and campaign performance across email, push, and SMS
Analytics & Performance Intelligence
Define and maintain reporting infrastructure for CRM and lifecycle channels - across open rates, click-through, conversion, and downstream revenue impact
Build dashboards and conduct deep-dive analyses (using SQL, Looker, or equivalent tools) to surface performance trends, anomalies, and optimization opportunities
Campaign Engineering & Platform Mastery
Architect and build multi-channel journeys (email, SMS, push) in Braze, including Canvas flows, API-triggered campaigns, segmentation logic, and dynamic personalization using Liquid
Write complex Liquid conditions, loops, and filters to render personalized content from JSON objects and API-sourced data
Develop modular, reusable HTML/CSS email templates that scale across campaigns and business units
Data Infrastructure & Integrations
Configure, test, and troubleshoot API endpoints and data pipelines in collaboration with engineering; use tools like Postman to validate integrations
Build and maintain precise audience definitions based on behavioral, demographic, event-level, and custom attribute data
Monitor platform health proactively — including deliverability signals via Google Postmaster Tools, AppsFlyer, and Braze logs — and resolve issues before they impact performance
Operational Leadership
Identify process inefficiencies and implement scalable systems: testing protocols, documentation standards, UTM governance, link libraries, and reporting templates
Drive sprint planning, ticket writing, and project prioritization across workstreams using tools like Shortcut or similar
Stay current on new platform features (Braze in particular) and industry developments; bring high-value opportunities to the team proactively
Required
Braze or Iterable certification or hands-on platform experience is required — Braze expertise is strongly preferred
5+ years in a marketing operations, CRM engineering, or lifecycle marketing role with demonstrated technical depth
Advanced proficiency in HTML/CSS for email development and Liquid (or equivalent templating language) for dynamic personalization
Strong analytical skills — comfortable writing SQL, working with data pipelines, and building performance reports from scratch
Experience working cross-functionally with Engineering, Analytics, and Product teams in a technical capacity
Sharp eye for detail with a systematic approach to QA and troubleshooting
Bonus Points
Experience at a high-growth consumer or B2C company. Marketplace experience is a huge plus
Familiarity with data warehousing tools (Snowflake, BigQuery) or CDP platforms
Background in growth or lifecycle strategy, not just execution
The range for this position is $130,000 - $150,000 yearly salary plus equity, dependent on job-related, non-discriminatory factors such as experience, education, and skills. This range is based on a full-time schedule.
