Senior Manager, Meter Technology
Location: Hybrid within Service Area States with Periodic Travel Required
Your role in our success:
This position will lead a team which has a blend of technology and operational aspects of metering that require the candidate to lead the adoption and implementation of technologies impacting meter technology servicing CHPK customers.
Who you are:
- You are leading a team which has a blend of technology and operational aspects of metering that require the candidate to lead the adoption and implementation of technologies impacting meter technology servicing CHPK customers.
- Partner with operational groups to deliver solutions to better efficiency, compliance, and regulatory needs.
- Partner with operational groups to ensure projects are delivered within scope, schedule and budget by managing stakeholder expectations.
- Collaborate with developer leads and business users to design, develop, and integrate user interfaces and services that meet business needs.
- Account or management of IT professionals either as direct reports or sourced.
- Account for translating business outcomes/expectations into clear technical requirements and execution plans.
- Serve as the primary contact for operations while directing, solving, and addressing service and production issues.
- Address meter read issues thru use of technology that is forward looking working with operations and other cross functional areas.
- Adapt, lead, and participate in architecture reviews of solutions being proposed.
Who you are:
- Experience delivering solutions/upgrades tied to meter upgrades going to AMI from AMR or Manual.
- Good understanding of IT systems and processes.
- Experience managing "meter to cash" process in the utility sector.
- Experience working with field devices, field data capture, and an understanding of head end systems data flowing to MDM to Billing is a must
- Strong strategic thinking skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Seven years’ experience in technology management
- Regular Driver’s License
