Job PurposeResponsible for managing the critical applications of the bank payments processing platform. Works effectively with the business stakeholders, internal teams and vendor in ensuring the product road map and the payment platforms and process improvements. Ensure payments products delivery and support strategy are aligned with the management objectives and goals. Ensures strategic vendor partnership and aligning products / industry road maps of the Payment platforms with business strategy. Responsible for guiding and mentoring the team locally and ensuring high quality of delivery and cross functional expertise with the team.
Key Result AreasManage a diversified team of professionals locally and vendor resources who are responsible for the Payment applications support & project deliveriesProvide expertise and recommendations in the assessment of initiatives to support and enhance systemsPerform appropriate level of stakeholder management across business, technology and clientsEnsure projects and initiatives are aligned to and delivered against the business objectives, serve as highest project internal escalation levelLeading the team to adhere to project and delivery compliance, ensuring compliance of project delivery to PMO, QMS, risk, audit & architecture guidelinesWork as part of a multi-disciplinary team in accordance with defined quality management practices, to achieve the common banks objectivesWorks with business representative, stakeholder to ensure alignment of delivery with the business demandInteract with the team of professionals who are responsible for payment applications (FCY and LCY) support and deliveryAssist the project delivery team during project deliveries as requiredConverge the requirements from regulators and effectively conclude on business requirementCollaborate closely with Product Owners and team members to identify and socialize product and deliverySupport and influence delivery operations within Payments platforms by continually looking for opportunities to streamline delivery, increase business value and measure platform value via metrics and measuresEffectively communicate and showcase the purpose and value of solutions being deliveredProvides strong analytical and problem-solving skillsDemonstrates effective techno-managerial skills, and Proven oratory and written skills
