Job Purpose:

The Project Controls Senior Manager is responsible for developing, maintaining, and tracking project schedules, creating and maintaining project dashboards and other reports as directed. This role ensures that there is full visibility on the project’s status and identification of early warnings related to the project progress. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate effectively with project stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Develop and maintain detailed project schedules using project management software.
2. Track project progress and update schedules regularly to reflect changes.
3. Create and maintain project dashboards to provide real-time updates on project status.
4. Analyse project data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
5. Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment on project goals and timelines.
6. Prepare and present project status reports to management and stakeholders.
7. Monitor project budgets and expenditures to ensure financial control.
8. Implement and maintain project control systems and procedures.
9. Assist in the development of project plans and resource allocation.
10. Critically evaluate and provide feedback to contractors and consultants on proposed project schedules.

Key Tasks:

1. Schedule Development: Create and update project schedules using tools like MS Project or Primavera.
2. Progress Tracking: Monitor project milestones and deliverables, updating schedules as needed.
3. Dashboard Creation: Design and maintain project dashboards
4. Data Analysis: Analyse project performance data to identify potential issues and areas for improvement.
5. Stakeholder Communication: Provide regular updates to project stakeholders through reports and presentations.
6. Risk Management: Identify and mitigate project risks through proactive planning and analysis.
