Senior Manager, Process Improvement and Controls (Transformation Lead)

New York, United States

We’re partnering with a high-growth eCommerce consumer brand to find a Senior Manager of Process Improvement & Controls - you'll do a ton of Transformation work and be the right hand to the COO.

This role is unique because you'll get exposure to every area of the business:

  • Finance, Operations, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Commercial, Sales, etc.

There is a ton of room to make a huge impact: you'll need to thrive at the intersection of process design, risk management, and operational scalability. The company is evolving and is maintaining it's fast-moving, entrepreneurial culture while scaling by adding structure/automation.

I personally know the COO and team you'll support - they're all incredibly talented, smart, and good leaders - they get stuff done but also genuinely have a good time and like being around each other.

What you’ll do:

  • Redesign and standardize processes across finance, operations, supply chain, and commercial teams.
  • Build and implement SOPs to ensure clarity, compliance, and repeatability.
  • Use Lean Six Sigma, Kaizen, or similar methodologies to eliminate inefficiencies and strengthen controls.
  • Drive complex, cross-functional initiatives — aligning stakeholders, tracking milestones, and delivering results.
  • Consolidate risk and control gaps into actionable projects with measurable outcomes.
  • Lead change management efforts to ensure adoption and long-term success.

What we’re looking for:

  • 7+ years in process improvement, internal controls, or program/project management.
  • Proven ability to design and implement end-to-end processes.
  • Certifications such as PMP, Lean Six Sigma (Green Belt+), SCRUM, or Kaizen are strongly preferred.
  • Strong communication skills to turn complex problems into simple, actionable steps.
  • Experience in consumer products, retail, or e-commerce is a plus.

Details:

  • Hybrid Schedule : 3 days a week in Manhattan office
  • Compensation: $155-$170k base salary + cash bonus and flexible for the perfect candidate
