Position Summary
The Senior Manager – Product Marketing, Caris ChromoSeq is responsible for leading the development and execution of integrated marketing initiatives to drive product awareness, adoption, and growth for ChromoSeq. This role combines strategic market planning with strong executional leadership, translating complex scientific and clinical data into clear, differentiated messaging that resonates with oncologists, hematologists, pathologists, and healthcare decision-makers.


Working in close partnership with Product Management, Medical Affairs, Commercial Strategy, and Sales, the Senior Manager ensures alignment of marketing initiatives with product priorities, clinical milestones, and commercial objectives. This individual plays a critical role in brand execution, sales enablement, and market engagement within the oncology diagnostics space.

Job Responsibilities
Marketing Strategy & Execution

  • Lead development and execution of the integrated marketing plan for ChromoSeq in alignment with portfolio strategy and commercial objectives.

  • Support annual marketing planning, budget input, and campaign prioritization.

  • Conduct market, customer, and competitive analyses to identify growth opportunities and inform positioning strategies.

  • Translate market insights into actionable campaigns and targeted initiatives.

Brand Positioning & Messaging

  • Develop clinically accurate, differentiated messaging that supports ChromoSeq positioning within myeloid malignancy diagnostics.

  • Ensure consistency of messaging across campaigns, sales materials, digital content, and conference presence.

  • Oversee development of marketing collateral, including sales tools, brochures, white papers, digital content, website updates, and promotional materials.

  • Partner with Medical Affairs to ensure scientific accuracy and regulatory alignment.

KOL & Market Engagement

  • Support identification and engagement of key opinion leaders in hematology and oncology in collaboration with Medical Affairs.

  • Assist in planning advisory boards, educational programs, and scientific exchange initiatives.

  • Support conference strategy and execution, including booth presence, promotional materials, and speaker coordination.

Commercial Enablement

  • Partner with Sales Leadership to develop training materials, messaging guides, and campaign tools to enhance field effectiveness.

  • Provide ongoing updates to commercial teams on product positioning and competitive landscape insights.

  • Support national and regional marketing initiatives aligned to commercial priorities.

Performance Measurement

  • Track campaign performance, adoption metrics, and customer engagement indicators.

  • Analyze data to refine targeting, messaging, and tactical deployment.

  • Provide regular reporting and recommendations to marketing and commercial leadership.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Life Sciences, or related field.

  • 5+ years of marketing experience in the life sciences industry, with 2-4 years in oncology diagnostics or molecular testing.

  • Proven expertise with laboratory-developed tests (LDTs) and oncology market dynamics.

  • Demonstrated ability to translate complex scientific data into clear, compelling marketing content.

  • Track record of KOL relationship development and advocacy program execution.

  • Strong project management and cross-functional leadership skills in a fast-paced environment.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Word, Excel, Outlook, and general working knowledge of Internet for business use.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Advanced degree (MBA, MS, or PhD) preferred.

  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.

  • This position requires periodic travel and some evenings, weekends and/or holidays.

  • Periodically scheduled on-call may require after-hours response for technical emergencies not explicitly related to assigned job responsibilities.

  • At times may be required to work weekends/holidays.
