Qiddiya Investment Company is on the lookout for a highly skilled Senior Manager - Road and Traffic to join our team. This key role will focus on the planning, design, and implementation of road and traffic management strategies to support our visionary development projects. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in traffic engineering, road design, and urban transportation solutions.
Responsibilities
- Lead the development and execution of road and traffic management plans that align with project objectives and regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate with design teams, stakeholders, and regulatory bodies to ensure efficient integration of traffic systems within the overall project framework.
- Conduct traffic assessments, analysis, and modeling to inform decisions related to road design and traffic flow optimization.
- Oversee the implementation of effective traffic control measures and the management of construction impacts on traffic.
- Collaborate with utility providers, construction teams, and city planners to ensure road and traffic systems function seamlessly.
- Monitor traffic patterns, conduct studies, and gather data to evaluate the effectiveness of traffic management systems.
- Prepare and present technical reports and recommendations to stakeholders and senior management.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations in all road and traffic activities.
- Promote continuous improvement and innovation in road and traffic management processes.
- Mentor and guide a team of traffic engineering professionals, fostering a culture of excellence and collaboration.
Requirements- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Transportation Engineering, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
- 10+ years of experience in road and traffic engineering, with a strong background in urban development projects.
- Demonstrated expertise in traffic analysis, traffic modeling, and road design principles.
- Proven track record of managing complex road and traffic projects from conception through execution.
- Strong knowledge of local and international traffic regulations and standards.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and project management skills.
- Effective communication and presentation skills, able to convey technical information to diverse audiences.
- Experience in stakeholder engagement and collaboration with government agencies.
- Professional engineering certifications or licenses are a plus.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple projects and priorities effectively.
