The Sr. SEO Manager – Performance & Analytics is responsible for making Lowe’s websites, apps, digital assets and product feeds act as force multipliers for organic growth.
This role does not manage day-to-day SEO operations or content execution. Instead, it focuses on technical foundations, site performance, product data, feeds and bots – ensuring our platforms are easily discoverable, fast, and structurally optimized for both conventional and AI-driven search.
He/She will partner closely with the SEO Operations Lead, Product, Engineering, Architecture, Data and Platform teams to define standards, build scalable automation and use data to continuously improve SEO performance.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Core Responsibilities:
Own product data synchronization and feed optimization for conventional and AI search surfaces, ensuring hygiene, freshness and industry-differentiating quality.
Define and monitor product data quality KPIs relevant to SEO (attributes, completeness, consistency, structured data).
Partner with Data/Platform teams to design and evolve feed infrastructure (formats, pipelines, validations) that supports rich, SEO-friendly content at scale.
Work with internal and external partners to optimize feeds for retail search, shopping, marketplaces and AI surfaces.
Lead crawl and index optimization, including log-file analysis, internal linking and architecture improvements to maximize discoverability of high-value content.
Own site performance and Core Web Vitals for key page types, partnering with Engineering to identify and resolve performance bottlenecks.
Collaborate with Architecture and Product on infrastructure, taxonomy and product data models that support scalable SEO, faceting and browse/search experiences.
Drive scalable automation, including AI-driven tagging, metadata generation and templated solutions to improve coverage and speed of implementation.
Understand and account for differentiated behaviors and optimization requirements of individual bots (conventional search, retail, AI/answer engines, internal crawlers).
Define and maintain robots, directives and guardrails that balance discoverability, crawl budget and platform stability.
Define and track data and performance-focused SEO KPIs (index coverage, CWV health, crawl efficiency, feed quality, product data quality).
Translate complex technical findings into clear, prioritized recommendations for Product, Engineering and SEO leadership.
Act as the technical SEO and performance SME in cross-functional forums, influencing roadmaps and investment decisions.
Years of Experience:
10+ years of experience in SEO / Organic Growth, with strong emphasis on technical SEO, performance and data in a digital, e-commerce or product-led environment.
3+ years in a senior or lead role driving technical SEO, site performance, product data or platform optimization.
Experience working in complex, matrixed organizations with Product, Engineering, Data and Marketing stakeholders.
Experience in a large e-commerce organization is mandatory.
