Senior Manager - Sports Competitions Assets

Qiddiya Investment Company is on the forefront of creating a globally recognized destination for sports and entertainment. We are currently seeking a talented and experienced Senior Manager - Sports Competitions Assets to oversee the strategic development, execution, and management of our sports competition facilities and programs. In this critical role, you will ensure that our assets are positioned to host world-class events while aligning with Qiddiya's vision and enhancing our reputation within the sports community.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support strategy brief updates, SG1 deliverables and selected deliverables relating to SG2 and SG3 across assigned assets.
  • Prepare panel ready decision papers; track and close panel conditions; ensure compliance with DOA, PMO calendars and audit requirements.
  • Coordinate cross functional reviews with Design & Delivery/DevCo, Finance, Legal, Procurement, PMO, Sustainability, Digital/Tech, Security and Mobility. Business cases, facility planning & data modelling
  • Build evidence led business cases and maintain version controlled P&Ls and feasibility models (demand, pricing, utilisation, staffing, sensitivities).
  • Translate federation and operator requirements into schedules of accommodation and performance/inclusive design standards.
  • Produce utilization plans and staffing/operating assumptions for competition, community and performance assets.
  • Support development, procurement and implementation of operating models (self operate, JV, management contract).
  • Work with Procurement/Legal on RFI/RFP/HoT processes and integrate operator inputs into briefs and models; define mobilization plans and KPIs.
  • Support the Director of Sports Business Development & Partnerships to deliver IP/brand, sponsorship, and commercial partnerships.
  • Coordinate with Business Development & Partnerships to plan, activate and performance manage strategic partnerships
  • Work with Marketing/Events/Sponsorship on partner activations (hospitality, branding, ticketing, marcomms, GR) tied to asset calendars.
  • Shape event readiness standards (field of play, broadcast, overlay, security, accessibility) and plan event programmes from grassroots to international with federations, rights holders and promoters.
  • Design participation pathways, pricing and membership policies, concessions and social value frameworks with education and clubs.
  • Align space/programme briefs with high performance services (HPC, S&C, recovery, medical, AMS/analytics) and safeguarding.
  • Support Sports Strategy strategic projects and initiatives (portfolio studies, shared services, playbooks, KPI frameworks).
  • Maintain risk registers and mitigations; integrate ESG targets (water, energy, materials) and inclusive design,

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Sports Management, Business Administration, or a related field
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience across sports venues, major events, community, performance planning or operations
