We are currently hiring a Senior Manager Strategic Commercial Contracts - 7 Months Contract Role on behalf of a prestigious client, based in their Dubai office.
Job Purpose:
The Senior Manager of Strategic Commercial Contracts will play a crucial role in overseeing and managing our critical and complex strategic commercial contracts, ensuring alignment with company goals, and mitigating risk. This position requires a high level of expertise in contract negotiation, management, and strategy, along with strong leadership skills and the ability to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders.
Job Description:
- Develop and implement strategic contract management processes and procedures.
- Manage the strategic contracts lifecycle, including renewals, amendments, and terminations.
- Support the negotiation and execution of high-value and complex commercial contracts, such as fuel concession agreement, ground handling agreement, and partnership contracts, with a value of in excess of AED 600 million.
- Manage the strategic contracts lifecycle, including renewals, amendments, and terminations.
- Ensure contracts align with company objectives, compliance requirements, and risk management policies.
- Support Commercial contracts team in the Tender process by preparing all relevant tender documents as required.
- Partner with senior leadership, legal teams and other departments to understand business needs and objectives.
- Provide expert advice on contractual terms and conditions, and guide teams through contract-related issues.
- Act as a liaison between the organization and external commercial partners.
- Identify and mitigate potential risks associated with commercial strategic contracts.
- Conduct regular reviews and audits of contracts to ensure compliance and identify areas for improvement.
- Monitor contract performance and deliverables, ensuring all parties meet their obligations.
- Address and resolve any issues or disputes that arise during the contract lifecycle.
