Senior Marketing Automation Manager, Digital Marketing, Pharma

We are looking for a curious digital problem solver to join our team as a Marketing Automation Manager. If you have a passion for marketing tools, digital campaigns, analytics reporting and helping uncover the insights that fuel marketing success, this is the role for you. You'll be responsible for supporting our Marketing Operations team as it designs and builds digital marketing campaigns and journeys. Having an eye for detail is an important part of this role as Marketing Operations is the last department to validate assets before they’re deployed or delivered to clients, vendors, and customers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work with senior members of the Marketing Operations team to support efforts in marketing automation, analytics, SEO, etc.
• Email and SMS campaign setup
• Email and deployment quality control and validation
• Marketing journey setup
• Email deliverability strategy and implementation (with developer support)
• Email QA
• Generate regular reports on key marketing metrics and KPIs
• Database management
• Consulting with third party vendors (i.e. Slipstream, Epsilon)
• Documenting evolving processes

Required Experience and Skills:

• 4+ years of experience in marketing operations
• 2+ years of experience in healthcare (pharma preferred)
• Experience in designing marketing automation journeys (i.e. journey mapping, Business Requirements Documents)
• Experience deploying ad hoc and journey email campaigns
• UTM tagging
• Advanced expertise in Marketo, Veeva
• Experience in using other marketing automation platforms (e.g., Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Klaviyo)
• Uploading assets to marketing automation platforms (with light coding)

Nice to have Experience and Skills:

• Analytics tagging implementation
• Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, and Matomo tagging
• Crafting and implementing SEO tags and assets
• Skills in Excel, including Pivot Tables, Advanced Formulas, Data Consolidation, Data Validation, and Conditional Formatting.
• Data visualization and presentation skills (Looker, Powerpoint, Tableau, etc.)
