Senior Marketing and Communications Manager
The Senior Marketing and Communications Manager is responsible for creating and executing marketing and communications plans for United Way of Buffalo & Erie County’s various programs, events and initiatives to drive awareness, understanding, and support of United Way of Buffalo & Erie County. This position reports to the Vice President of Marketing and Communications and collaborates within the Marketing and Communications team as well as cross-departmentally.

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in a related field with 5+ years of work related experience or equivalent.
Proven experience in developing effective marketing and communications plans, advertising materials, and digital campaigns to reach diverse audiences.
Proficiency in relevant software packages including Adobe Creative Suite and Wordpress
Demonstrated commitment to diversity and equity.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work on diverse cross-functional teams in both leadership and member roles.
Exceptional presentation and writing skills.

Ability to simplify complex information and clearly communicate through multiple communication channels to diverse audiences.
Social media experience.
Ability to successfully delegate and provide team members with growth opportunities.
Must possess strong interpersonal skills and is a relationship builder.
Videography experience is a plus.
Travel is primarily within the eight counties of Western New York. Some domestic travel may be required for job training and professional development.
