New Waterloo is hiring for a Senior Marketing Manager!

What you'll do:
- Lead the development and execution of integrated marketing campaigns that align with brand positioning, revenue goals, and community engagement
- Partner with sales and operations teams to create offers, promotions, and programming that drive occupancy, F&B, and ancillary revenue
- Balance high-level strategy with hands-on execution of day-to-day marketing needs across the portfolio
- Manage digital marketing efforts, including SEO, SEM, paid media, email campaigns, and paid social, to generate qualified traffic, engagement, and conversions to maximize ROI
- Analyze campaign performance, provide actionable reporting, and refine strategies to improve results
- Ensure websites are current by updating copy, promotions, calendars, and event listings
- Maintain all digital listings (Google, TripAdvisor, Yelp, OpenTable, etc.) to ensure accuracy and visibility
- Oversee content strategy for web, email, and social channels, ensuring all assets are on-brand, compelling, and performance-driven
- Create and manage content calendars; produce engaging posts, including video, for all platforms
- Monitor social trends and implement innovative approaches to increase reach and engagement
- Lead planning, promotion, and execution of events, activations, and pop-ups that enhance brand awareness and drive traffic
- Build community partnerships and brand collaborations to keep properties relevant and top-of-mind
- Ensure events are communicated clearly to internal teams and provide on-site support for seamless execution
- Serve as brand ambassador and ensure all creative assets, collateral, menus, and on-site materials are consistent and on-brand
- Partner with PR agencies to provide strategic direction and support media opportunities; oversee press requests, interviews, and content fulfillment
- Coordinate photography and video shoots to ensure brand alignment, budget management, and timely delivery
- Build strong relationships with property teams, external partners, and community stakeholders
- Work with cross-functional, multi-project team resources to ensure marketing solutions are delivered on time and on budget according to defined scope, timeline, and cost expectations
- Understand marketing best practices
- Work with the Corporate Director of Marketing on strategic partnerships and fulfillment as it relates to landmark events and activations
- Define KPIs and provide reporting to key stakeholders, managing the optimization of programs on a regular and ongoing basis
- Adhere to all standards of operations, policies, procedures, manuals, training material, memos, and verbal instruction
- Performs other duties as assigned or deemed necessary by management
Who you are:
- You have a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, Business, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- You have 4+ years of progressive marketing experience, ideally within hospitality, hotels, restaurants, or lifestyle brands.
- You have exceptional copywriting and storytelling skills; able to craft compelling, on-brand content across digital, print, and experiential channels.
- You are a highly motivated self-starter with a strategic mindset and the ability to execute with precision.
- You are extremely organized and detail-oriented; adept at managing multiple projects, priorities, and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- You are flexible and resilient, with the ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed for events or activations.
- You have proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator) with the ability to produce high-quality flyers, brochures, menus, and other marketing collateral.
- You have strong analytical skills and experience interpreting marketing performance data to optimize campaigns.
- You are an excellent communicator and collaborator, with proven success working across teams and with external partners.
