Senior Marketing Manager

Client is seeking a Senior Marketing Manager to lead and enhance the firm’s business development and communications initiatives. With a strong brand, culture, and reputation across the Pacific Northwest, Client is known for its diverse and innovative architectural portfolio. We are looking for a strategic marketing professional who can elevate our marketing efforts, amplify our expertise, and strengthen our thought leadership.

The ideal candidate will have experience in the Architecture, Engineering, or Construction (A/E/C) industry and possess exceptional writing and communication skills. This role owns Client’s external brand voice and develops marketing strategies that support both short- and long-term business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and support pursuit strategies for new business opportunities

Develop custom proposal responses and marketing materials

Facilitate internal and client debriefs to enhance future pursuits

Drive public relations initiatives and cultivate relationships with local and national media

Develop and execute PR strategies for key projects

Plan and manage the firm’s annual blog calendar aligned with business goals

Write blog posts and support thought leadership content from internal experts

Coordinate and manage local and national award submissions

Interview project teams to create compelling project stories for the Client website

Assist in creating photography shot lists to support project storytelling

Develop digital marketing campaigns highlighting expertise and active projects

Identify and support speaking opportunities at conferences and industry events

Assist the Marketing Director in developing the annual marketing plan and budget

Provide guidance and support to the Marketing Coordinator

Required Skills:

Exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling abilities

Strong organizational skills with attention to detail

Strategic and creative problem-solving mindset

Experience managing or mentoring team members

Excellent communication and relationship-building skills

Interest in learning the technical aspects of architecture

Adaptability in a fast-changing work environment

Strong time management and self-direction

Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines

Experience contributing to thought leadership initiatives

Familiarity with Adobe InDesign is a plus

Experience with Cosential/Unanet CRM systems is a plus

Experience & Education:

8+ years of marketing or communications experience

Experience in the Architecture, Engineering, or Construction (A/E/C) industry preferred

Bachelor’s degree or higher in English, Journalism, Marketing, Communications, or related field

Pay: $67,909.58 - $81,783.58 per year
