Role Overview

We are seeking a highly accomplished Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our NextGen Design Studio. The ideal candidate will be a proven specialist with a strong academic background, extensive global project exposure, and recognized professional credentials. This role will drive digitally enabled engineering solutions, advancing the frontiers of design delivery while mentoring teams and contributing to Pinnacle’s position as a leader in next-generation engineering.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and delivery of complex mechanical engineering solutions for diverse building types across geographies, with emphasis on UK, EUROPE, US, and Middle East projects.
• Champion digital-first, BIM-driven methodologies, integrating seamless engineering analysis with design execution.
• Apply advanced mechanical engineering expertise to deliver high-performance, precise, and predictive systems aligned with the NextGen philosophy.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, ensuring integrated and coordinated MEP system designs.
• Guide and mentor junior engineers, fostering technical excellence and a culture of innovation.
• Act as a thought leader, promoting Pinnacle’s design capabilities to clients and stakeholders.
• Ensure designs and deliverables comply with international standards, codes, and sustainable practices.

Qualifications & Experience

• Master’s degree (or higher) in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related discipline.
• Minimum 10 years of progressive experience in Energy modelling services and Building services/MEP design Engineering sector.
• Specializing in different green building rating systems and compliance, including LEED, ASHRAE PRM 90.1, BREEAM and ESTIDAMA.
• Proven experience across multiple complex building types (commercial, healthcare, high-rise, mixed-use, etc.).
• Demonstrated track record of working on projects across different geographies; UK, EUROPE, US, and Middle East experience strongly preferred.
• Recognized memberships in relevant international institutions (e.g., ASHRAE, CIBSE, ISHRAE).
• Strong understanding of digital design delivery tools like IESVE- Apache HVAC, HAP & HEVACOMP, Autodesk AutoCAD, Autodesk Revit, Navisworks.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and collaboration skills; proven ability to inspire teams and engage stakeholders.
• Strong commitment to innovation, sustainability, and continuous improvement.
