Turner Property Recruitment are delighted to be assisting their client in the search for a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to join a growing and highly regarded consultancy delivering innovative and sustainable building services solutions.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Mechanical Engineer to take a lead role in project delivery, working across a diverse portfolio including commercial, residential, healthcare and industrial sectors.

You will be responsible for delivering high-quality mechanical design solutions while working closely with clients and multidisciplinary teams from concept through to completion.

The Role

Lead the delivery of mechanical building services design including HVAC, heating, ventilation and plumbing systems Manage projects to ensure delivery on time, within budget and to client expectations Collaborate with clients, architects and engineering teams to develop tailored design solutions Review and approve calculations, drawings and specifications Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior engineers Incorporate sustainable and energy-efficient design principles Attend site visits and project meetings to ensure design intent is achieved

About You

Degree qualified in Mechanical or Building Services Engineering Chartered or working towards CEng Strong experience in mechanical design within consultancy or similar environment In-depth knowledge of UK Building Regulations and CIBSE guidance Proficient in software such as AutoCAD, Revit, IES or Hevacomp Strong communication and client-facing skills Detail-oriented with strong organisational ability
