What You'll Do

Design and develop mechanical systems for high-performance computing platforms and custom infrastructure hardware.

Create detailed CAD models, drawings, and documentation for assemblies, enclosures, fixtures, and mechanical subsystems.

Perform engineering analysis including thermal modeling, structural evaluation, and system-level design trade studies.

Prototype, test, and refine hardware designs through hands-on development and validation.

Translate engineering concepts into manufacturable solutions while balancing performance, reliability, and serviceability.

Collaborate with external manufacturers and suppliers to support fabrication, assembly, and production activities.

Develop tooling, fixtures, and test equipment to improve assembly, validation, and manufacturing processes.

Support prototype builds, troubleshooting efforts, and deployment activities.

Work cross-functionally with electrical, firmware, and infrastructure teams to integrate complete hardware solutions.

Maintain engineering documentation including drawings, specifications, assembly procedures, and test plans.

Qualifications
Required
-
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.

3+ years of experience designing mechanical systems using CAD software such as SolidWorks, Fusion 360, or equivalent tools.

Experience with thermal management and electronics cooling solutions.

Proven ability to take designs from concept through prototype and production.

Hands-on experience with fabrication, prototyping, machining, 3D printing, or fixture development.

Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and design-for-manufacturability principles.

Experience performing engineering analyses such as thermal, structural, or CFD simulations.

Ability to troubleshoot mechanical issues and develop practical engineering solutions.

Excellent communication, documentation, and technical drawing skills.

Authorization to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship requirements.
