The Senior Mechanical Engineer will play a key role in managing and executing mechanical engineering projects, ensuring high-quality design and compliance with industry standards. This position requires a blend of strategic thinking, technical expertise, and project management skills.
Key Responsibilities:

Reviewing Mechanical design drawings and ensuring their submission on a timely basis.
- Reviewing all Mechanical RFIs received from the contractors.
- Manage, deliver and offer solutions for all MEP works to ensure smooth operations with contractors and consultants.
- Conduct all ongoing contacts and follow-up with the competent authorities (owner & consultant & government agencies...).
- Follow-up to the work of the project's technical office
- Follow-up on project supplies.
- Control of subcontractors' work and extracts.
- Monitor the performance and completion of the project's work in accordance with the approved timetable and monitor the prospects for the project's completion and develop its own perceptions and alternatives as necessary.
- Monitoring the execution of the works with the required quality
- Delivering the project according to plan and reporting on its status to the task force and key stakeholders.
Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 4-5 years of relevant experience in mechanical engineering, preferably in the contracting work.
- Proven experience in designing and implementing mechanical systems for large-scale projects.
- Experience in indoor (HVAC & Plumping & Firefighting) and familiar with various systems
- Familiar with NFPA Codes, Plumbing Codes (IPC & EPC), ASHRAE & SMACNA standards.
- Strong understanding of relevant codes, standards, and regulations related to mechanical systems.
- Excellent project management and leadership skills.
- Proficient in engineering software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, HAP, etc.) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to communicate effectively with multidisciplinary teams and clients.
