Senior Mechanical Engineer

Euro Mechanical is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to perform engineering design, analysis, and technical oversight for mechanical systems and equipment used in energy sector projects. This role involves preparing engineering deliverables, ensuring compliance with project specifications and applicable codes, and providing technical support during construction and commissioning. The position reports to the Technical Director.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and review mechanical engineering deliverables, including equipment specifications, data sheets, drawings, and material requisitions.
• Perform engineering calculations for rotating equipment, pressure vessels, piping systems, and associated mechanical components.
• Review vendor technical submissions, shop drawings, and equipment proposals for compliance with project requirements.
• Coordinate with other engineering disciplines, project managers, and client representatives to resolve technical issues.
• Participate in design reviews, HAZOP studies, and technical meetings as required.
• Provide technical support to procurement, construction, and commissioning teams throughout project execution.
• Conduct site visits to verify existing conditions, support installation activities, and troubleshoot field issues.
• Ensure all work complies with applicable international codes (ASME, API, ASTM) and client standards.
• Maintain organized project documentation and engineering records.
• Mentor and provide guidance to junior engineers and designers.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent engineering field.
• Minimum of 10 years of mechanical engineering experience in the oil and gas, petrochemical, or energy industry.
• Professional Engineering (PE) license, chartered engineer status, or equivalent professional certification is preferred.
• Experience working on ADNOC or other major GCC energy sector projects is preferred.
• Proficiency in mechanical engineering software and Microsoft Office applications.
• Working knowledge of ASME, API, ASTM, and other relevant industry codes and standards.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and manage multiple priorities.
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to project sites as required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED6,000.00 - AED7,500.00 per month
