Senior Mechanical Engineer - HVAC

We are seeking an experienced Senior HVAC Engineer to join our team in the UAE. The ideal candidate will have strong UAE experience in HVAC systems within MEP contracting projects and the ability to independently manage site execution, coordination, and technical delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and supervise the installation, testing, and commissioning of HVAC systems, including chilled water, DX systems, ventilation, and smoke management.
• Review HVAC drawings, specifications, calculations, and method statements to ensure compliance with project and authority requirements.
• Coordinate closely with consultants, main contractors, subcontractors, and internal site teams to ensure smooth project execution.
• Monitor site progress, manpower, and material usage to achieve project timelines and quality standards.
• Resolve technical issues, design discrepancies, and site coordination challenges effectively.
• Ensure compliance with QHSE standards and company procedures.
• Manage HVAC material submittals, technical approvals, inspections, and project documentation.
• Support project managers in planning, reporting, and close-out documentation.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum 7–10 years of HVAC experience in UAE MEP contracting projects.
• Strong technical knowledge of HVAC systems, standards, and local authority requirements.
• Proven experience in site execution, coordination, and commissioning.
• Proficiency in MS Office, AutoCAD, and HVAC-related engineering software.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
