Fourth Dimension Group is a subcontractor supporting major Oil & Gas projects in Qatar and UAE. Our scope includes mechanical and piping construction works such as fabrication, erection, hydrotesting, pre-commissioning, and site execution coordination with the main contractor.

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior Mechanical Engineer with strong GCC Oil & Gas background to manage and supervise mechanical and piping construction activities within our subcontract scope.

The candidate will be responsible for ensuring proper execution of fabrication, erection, hydrotesting, and pre-commissioning activities in compliance with project specifications, HSE standards, and main contractor requirements.

Project Scope

Mechanical and piping construction works for Oil & Gas projects, including fabrication, installation/erection, hydrotesting, pre-commissioning activities, and overall site execution supervision in coordination with the main contractor.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead mechanical and piping construction activities at site
• Review drawings, method statements, and technical documents
• Coordinate with QA/QC, HSE, planning, and main contractor teams
• Supervise piping fabrication, erection, welding, and hydrotesting
• Ensure compliance with ASME standards and project specifications
• Manage manpower and subcontractors within mechanical scope
• Monitor progress and provide technical solutions to site issues
• Support mechanical completion, testing, and handover activities
• Ensure strict adherence to PTW and safety procedures

Mandatory Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering
• Minimum 10+ years Oil & Gas experience
• Minimum 5+ years GCC experience
• Strong experience in mechanical & piping construction works
• Experience in refinery, LNG, petrochemical, or pipeline projects
• Good knowledge of ASME B31.1 / B31.3 and industry standards
• Strong leadership and coordination skills
