Medical Physicists ensure that advanced imaging technologies are used safely and effectively, protecting patients and staff while enabling accurate diagnosis and treatment. Their work bridges physics, medicine, and engineering, making them vital to modern healthcare systems. Current position scope includes General X-ray, Mammography, Fluoroscopy, Intervention Radiology, CT, MRI, Ultrasound, Nuclear Medicine, PET/CT, Cyclotron, Radiation Protection at Stadium Road Campus, Secondary Hospitals, and remote medical centers

Responsibilities:

You will be responsible for:

  • Imaging and Radiation Dosimetry Equipment Quality Management.
  • Provide Technical Support to radiologists, nuclear physicians and technologists in implementing best practices and developing new techniques.
  • Ensure Radiation Protection for staff, patients and public and compliance to the regulations and applicable standards.
  • Participate in research and development activities.
  • Provide Training & Education and participate in Medical Physics (Physics of Radiology, Nuclear Medicine & PET) teaching and training activities for clinical staff, residents, nurses, allied health professionals and trainees.
  • Management and Administration activities related to radiation protection, quality and safety.

Job Requirements:

You should have:

  • Graduate (MS) in Medical Physics, Physics, Applied Physics or related field with at least 3 years experience in diagnostic imaging, nuclear medicine, and radiation safety field.
  • Undergraduate (BS or equivalent) in Medical Physics, Physics, Applied Physics or related field with 5 years experience in diagnostic imaging, nuclear medicine, and radiation safety.
  • Structured Medical Physics Training (certificate/ diploma/ degree).
  • Knowledge of local regulatory standards. IAEA, JCIA and ISO.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Excellent communication and training skills.
  • Commitment to patient safety and continuous improvement.
