The Mechanical MEP Engineer will be responsible for reviewing and verifying the design, Contractor’s submittals and installation of the mechanical systems for new and existing projects. The candidate shall have a full understanding of the local codes, sustainability standards, and operational efficiency across HVAC, plumbing and fire protection systems.
Key Responsibilities

Design review and verification of HVAC, plumbing and fire protection systems.

Engineering submittals review (Shop Drawings, Materials Submittals, RFI, etc…) review of HVAC, plumbing and fire protection systems.

Conduct review on load calculations, equipment sizing and duct/piping sizing.

Coordinate with electrical, architectural and civil teams to ensure seamless integration of services.

Oversee installation, testing and commissioning of mechanical systems.

Ensure compliance with ASHRAE, NFPA and local authority standards.

Investigate and address mechanical issues during construction and operation phases.

Support sustainability initiatives (energy efficiency, green building certifications).
Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.

10+ years of experience in MEP design and site execution.

Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit MEP, and HVAC design software.

Strong knowledge of international and local mechanical codes.

Excellent communication and coordination skills.
