Job Title: Senior Merchandiser – Wovens Export Division

Reports To:  Merchandising Manager / Head of Exports

Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled and experienced  Senior Merchandiser  to join our team and take charge of handling key export clients within the woven garment sector. This role requires a strong technical understanding of garment manufacturing, excellent communication in English, and a proven track record managing international clients from development to delivery. The ideal candidate already has  established industry connections  and a strong network within the export-oriented woven garment market.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day communication and coordination with international clients to ensure clarity, satisfaction, and timely follow-up.
• Lead the full merchandising process—from receiving tech packs to costing, development, approvals, production follow-up, and final delivery.
• Oversee sample development, including coordination with pattern, design, and sampling departments to meet client requirements.
• Monitor fabric and trim sourcing, lab dip approvals, fit/sample approvals, and critical path deadlines.
• Prepare detailed Bill of Materials (BOMs), costing sheets, and production tracking reports.
• Liaise with internal departments (production, quality, logistics) to ensure client expectations are met.
• Ensure smooth coordination of shipments and compliance with export documentation and delivery timelines.
• Maintain and develop relationships with international buyers, leveraging existing connections in the woven garment export industry.

Qualifications & Skills:

• 3–5+ years of experience in a similar role within a garment manufacturing setup focused on  woven apparel for export .
• Strong knowledge of woven garment construction, fabrics, trims, and finishing techniques.
• Excellent spoken and written  English  is essential.
• Strong communication, follow-up, and negotiation skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel), handling tech packs, and using ERP systems.
• Ability to multitask across multiple client accounts and timelines.
• Existing industry connections with international buyers and sourcing teams in the woven apparel segment is  highly preferred .
