Senior Merchandiser Required

Location: S.I.T.E., Karachi
Position: Merchandiser

We are seeking a qualified and capable Merchandiser to join our Garment Manufacturing Unit (Export) based in S.I.T.E., Karachi. This is an exciting opportunity to be a key part of a dynamic team and contribute to the seamless flow of production and export operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Product Development & Follow-Through: Source, develop, and manage products from initial concept through to shipment, ensuring all timelines align with seasonal calendars and customer specifications.
• Customer Communication: Maintain consistent communication with customers to ensure their requirements are met. Sync with the production teams to ensure smooth workflow and timely deliveries.
• Production Analysis & Reporting: Analyze production figures, track progress, and report on key metrics. Oversee procurement of trims and coordinate sample development to ensure the highest product standards.
• Export Marketing & Shipment Protocols: Manage shipment protocols, ensuring smooth export procedures that comply with international standards and client needs.

General Requirements:

• Experience: Proven track record in the garment industry as a Merchandiser with strong knowledge of export processes.
• Skills:
• Analytical Mindset: Ability to assess production data and make informed decisions.
• Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Leadership: Demonstrated leadership skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively within a team.
• Communication: Proficient in email exchanges and communication with clients and internal teams.
• Technical: Proficiency with office management systems and standard computer applications.
