Role Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Middleware Developer with 4–6 years of experience to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in banking systems, agile development practices, and middleware technologies to support integration, scalability, and performance across enterprise platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop APIs for applications to integrate with Microsoft Power Platform (PowerApps, Power Automate, Power BI, Power Pages).
  • Design and maintain SQL Server databases, queries, and stored procedures.
  • Collaborate with BAs to translate business requirements into technical API solutions.
  • Ensure solutions follow best practices for security, scalability, and maintainability.
  • Troubleshoot and optimize existing applications and integrations.
  • Deploy, manage, and integrate applications using cloud services (Azure and AWS) as required for hosting, storage, or integrations.
  • Strong knowledge of REST, SOAP, JSON, XML, and API lifecycle management.

Experience with middleware platforms (e.g., WSO2, IBM, Azure API Management).

  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or Node.js.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence).
  • Understanding of authentication protocols (OAuth2, JWT, SAML).
  • Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Required Qualifications:

· Design, develop, and maintain middleware solutions and APIs to support enterprise application integration.

· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather integration requirements and translate them into scalable solutions.

· Implement RESTful and SOAP APIs for internal and external system communication.

· Ensure secure, reliable, and high-performance data exchange between systems.

· Monitor and troubleshoot middleware and API performance issues.

· Maintain documentation for integration processes, API specifications, and middleware configurations.

· Support Agile development cycles by contributing to sprint planning, backlog grooming, and daily stand-ups.

· Work closely with DevOps teams to automate deployment and manage CI/CD pipelines for integration components.

· Ensure compliance with data governance, security, and regulatory standards.

Job Types: Full-time, Temporary, Contract
Contract length: 12 months

Pay: BD800.000 - BD2,000.000 per month
