Senior Mining Engineer (Khushab)

We are looking for the position of Sr. Mining Engineer. The incumbents will ensure that underground resources are extracted safely and efficiently.

Responsibilities:

· Develop and implement detailed mine plans focusing on optimal extraction methods for coal.

· Analyze geological data to assess coal reserves and prepare resource models.

· Oversee daily mining operations, ensuring adherence to production targets, budgets, and schedules.

· Collaborate with site management to optimize coal extraction processes and improve operational efficiency.

· Provide engineering expertise in the design and implementation of coal mining projects.

· Evaluate and select mining equipment, ensuring they meet operational requirements.

· Ensure all mining operations comply with national and local regulations, including environmental and safety standards.

· Conduct regular safety audits and assessments to identify and mitigate risks.

· Lead and mentor a team of engineers and operational staff, fostering a collaborative work environment.

· Organize training sessions on best practices and safety protocols in coal mining operations.

· Monitor and analyze operational performance data to provide insights for continuous improvement.

· Prepare and present regular reports on mining metrics, safety incidents, and compliance status.

Qualifications:

• Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Mining Engineering or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum of 4 to 8 years of experience in coal mining operations or related roles.

Candidates holding First Class Competency Certificate will be preferred.
