Senior Mistress (AKU-EB)

Job Summary:
We are seeking a qualified and experienced Senior Mistress with expertise in the Aga Khan University Examination Board (AKU-EB) curriculum. The successful candidate will oversee academic standards, support teachers, monitor student progress, and ensure effective implementation of AKU-EB policies and practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate academic activities for assigned grade levels.
• Ensure compliance with AKU-EB curriculum, assessment, and examination requirements.
• Mentor and support teachers in lesson planning, classroom management, and student assessment.
• Monitor student performance and implement strategies for academic improvement.
• Conduct classroom observations and provide constructive feedback.
• Coordinate with parents, teachers, and school leadership on student welfare and academic matters.
• Organize staff development and curriculum enrichment activities.

Requirements:

• Master's degree in Education or a relevant subject.
• Minimum 5 years of teaching and academic leadership experience.
• Strong knowledge of AKU-EB curriculum and assessment framework.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in educational technology and academic reporting.

Preferred:

• Experience in a reputed school following the AKU-EB system.
• Relevant professional development certifications.
