Job Summary

As a Senior Software Engineer B2 you will play a crucial role in developing and maintaining software solutions using SQL Server C# ASP NET Core Web API SQL Azure and .Net Framework. You will work in a hybrid model collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions. Your expertise will contribute to enhancing our systems ensuring they meet the evolving needs of the Property & Casualty Insurance domain.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop robust software applications using SQL Server C# and .Net Framework to meet business requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze requirements ensuring alignment with business objectives.
• Implement and maintain cloud-based solutions using Azure to enhance system scalability and performance.
• Conduct thorough testing and debugging of applications to ensure high-quality software delivery.
• Optimize database performance and ensure data integrity through effective SQL query design and management.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for software applications ensuring minimal downtime and disruption.
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers to maintain code quality standards.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to continuously improve software development practices.
• Document software designs technical specifications and user guides to facilitate knowledge sharing and training.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to identify opportunities for system enhancements and process improvements.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations in all software development activities.
• Contribute to the development of best practices and standards for software engineering within the team.
• Support the integration of new technologies and tools to improve development efficiency and effectiveness.

Qualifications

• Possess a strong understanding of SQL Server C# and .Net Framework with proven experience in software development.
• Demonstrate expertise in Azure cloud services and their application in software solutions.
• Exhibit proficiency in SQL for database management and optimization.
• Have experience in the Property & Casualty Insurance domain which is a valuable asset.
• Show excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Display strong communication skills to effectively interact with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Maintain a proactive approach to learning and adapting to new technologies and methodologies.
