Senior Network and Security Engineer

We are looking for a Senior Network and Security Engineer to join our Network & Security Operations Center (NSOC) . The ideal candidate will have 8–10 years of hands-on experience managing Huawei network and security infrastructure , including routers, switches, firewalls, and security appliances.

Key Responsibilities

• Deploy, configure, and manage Huawei routers (NE/AR), switches (S5700/S6700/CloudEngine), and firewalls (USG6000 series).
• Provide 24x7 NOC support, including incident response, troubleshooting, and ITIL-compliant change management.
• Implement and manage security solutions: firewall policies, IPS/IDS, VPNs, and SecoManager
• Maintain configuration backups, firmware updates, patches, and version control.
• Create technical documentation, network diagrams, SOPs, runbooks, and performance reports.
• Work with multi-vendor environments (Cisco, Juniper, Palo Alto, Fortinet) and support cloud & automation initiatives (Azure/AWS, Python, Bash, Ansible, PowerShell).

Qualification

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Telecommunications, or related field.
• HCIE-Datacom / HCIE-Security or HCIP-Datacom with HCIP-Security; additional certifications like CCNP/CCIE, JNCIP/JNCIE, PCNSE, NSE 4–7, CISSP, ITIL Foundation are a plus.
• Strong knowledge of routing (BGP, OSPF, IS-IS, MPLS) and switching (VLANs, STP, LACP, VXLAN).
• Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and English communication skills.
• Willingness to work in shift rotations for 24x7 NOC operations and provide on-call support.
