Senior Network Security Engineer / ICT Team Lead - Job DescriptionJob Purpose

The Senior Network Security Engineer / ICT Team Lead is responsible for designing, implementing, and managing secure network infrastructures across on-premises and hybrid environments. The role includes leading technical teams, delivering projects, and ensuring high availability using technologies such as Palo Alto, Fortinet, F5, Aruba ClearPass, Infoblox, Azure Cloud, and data center solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and optimize enterprise network and security solutions.
• Implement network segmentation, firewall policies, VPNs, NAC, and Zero Trust models.
• Deploy and manage firewalls, WAFs, load balancers, and secure remote access solutions.
• Lead ICT and network security teams and manage end-to-end project delivery.
• Create HLDs, LLDs, configurations, testing procedures, and documentation.
• Oversee incident response, troubleshooting, and escalation as per SLAs.
• Review and optimize firewall and NAT policies.
• Design and support Azure network services such as VNETs, VPN Gateways, Azure Firewall, and Load Balancers.
• Provide technical consultation, pre-sales support, and customer engagement.

Required Technical Skills

• Network: OSPF, BGP, MPLS, L3VPN, VLAN, VXLAN, HSRP/VRRP, SD-WAN, VPNs.
• Security: Palo Alto, Fortinet (FortiGate, FortiManager, FortiAnalyzer), F5 LTM/GTM/ASM, Aruba ClearPass.
• Cloud: Azure VNETs, VNET Peering, Azure Firewall, VPN Gateways, Load Balancers, NSGs.
• Network Services: Infoblox DNS/DHCP/IPAM, F5 DNS, DHCP Failover.
• Documentation: HLD, LLD, PIP, network diagrams, change management.

Certifications (Preferred)

• CCIE / CISSP
• Palo Alto PCNSE / PCSFE
• Fortinet NSE4 / NSE7
• F5 BIG-IP Administrator
• ITILv4 Foundation

Soft Skills

• Leadership and team management.
• Strong communication and client-facing experience.
• Analytical and detail-oriented.
• Strong documentation and problem-solving skills.

Experience Required

• 10+ years of experience in network and security engineering.
• Experience leading technical teams and delivering enterprise-level projects.
• Experience in industries like banking, telecom, government, or oil & gas is a plus.
