Senior Node Js Developer

Job description

Location: Near FC College Lahore (On-site)

Working Hours: 9:00 AM – 06:00 PM

Employment Type: Full-time

Experience: 4+ years

Required Skills

● 4+ years of professional backend development experience.

● Strong hands-on experience with Node.js and TypeScript.

● Experience with Express.js, NestJS, or similar Node.js backend frameworks.

● Strong understanding of REST API design, middleware, validation, error handling, and API versioning.

● Good knowledge of PostgreSQL or similar relational databases.

● Experience with schema design, migrations, indexes, transactions, and query optimization.

● Hands-on experience with TypeORM, Prisma, or similar ORM tools.

● Experience with cache management, background jobs, queues, retries, and async processing.

● Understanding of authentication and authorization patterns such as JWT, RBAC, OAuth, or similar.

● Experience integrating third-party APIs and handling webhooks.

● Ability to write clean, modular, maintainable code.

● Comfortable working with Git, pull requests, and code reviews.

● Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.

● Good written and verbal communication skills. Preferred Skills

● Experience with Stripe or another payment/subscription billing platform.

● Experience building or maintaining multi-tenant SaaS applications.

● Experience with webhook-heavy systems, including retries, idempotency, and failure handling.

● Experience working in SaaS, fintech, marketplaces, logistics, e-commerce, restaurant tech, or other operationally complex domains.

● Experience with Next.js for supporting frontend integration or internal dashboard work.
