Scheduled Hours: 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.

Semi-Monthly Salary: The current rate for this position is $2,369.70. Individual(s) selected for this position may receive a higher rate based on a pay differential (e.g. shift, or time-of-service pay).

Annual Starting Salary: $56,872.81

Responsibilities - What you’ll do

• Diverse Investigations: Lead a mix of proactive contract reviews and allegation-specific investigations by gathering evidence, examining financial and operational records, conducting interviews, and drafting comprehensive reports.
• Independent Leadership: Drive investigations from inception to completion with minimal supervision, taking full ownership of your caseload.
• Accountability and Compliance: Evaluate Departmental contractors to ensure state and federal funds are utilized in strict compliance with contractual and regulatory obligations.

Qualifications - All you need for success Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree and relevant certification/licensure, paired with two or more years of relevant audit and/or investigative experience. A solid understanding of evidence lifecycle management- knowing where to find documentation, how to preserve its integrity, and how to present it flawlessly. Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) preferred.
