Senior Odoo Developer – Full-Time

Location: College Road, Township, Lahore
Job Timing: 9:00 PM – 6:00 AM PKT

We are seeking an experienced Senior Odoo Developer to join our team. In this role, you will design, develop, customize, and implement Odoo applications tailored to our clients’ business requirements. Working collaboratively with cross-functional teams, you will ensure smooth integration, optimal performance, and successful delivery of Odoo-based solutions. Your expertise will play a critical role in the success of our Odoo projects.

Key Responsibilities
Design & Development

• Develop and customize Odoo modules according to client specifications.
• Design and implement new features within the Odoo framework.
• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code following industry best practices.
• Conduct code reviews to ensure high-quality and standards-compliant development.

Integration

• Build and maintain APIs to enable smooth data exchange with external systems.
• Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across integrated platforms.
• Integrate Odoo with third-party applications, including e-commerce solutions and payment gateways.
• Manage data migration, synchronization, and cross-system consistency.

Troubleshooting & Support

• Identify and resolve issues related to Odoo applications and modules.
• Provide technical support and training to end-users as needed.
• Monitor system performance and implement necessary improvements.

Database Management

• Manage and optimize Odoo databases while ensuring data security and integrity.
• Perform routine database maintenance, backups, and updates.
• Implement indexing and optimization techniques to enhance performance.

Client Consultation

• Collaborate with clients to understand business requirements and convert them into technical solutions.
• Offer expert guidance on Odoo best practices, features, and capabilities.
• Conduct requirement analysis and feasibility studies for new projects.

Documentation

• Prepare and maintain documentation for developed modules, systems, and processes.
• Document analysis, design workflows, and coding procedures.
• Create user guides, manuals, and training materials for end-users.

Testing

• Perform functional testing prior to deployment to ensure all requirements are met.
• Implement automated testing practices to ensure product quality.
• Conduct unit, integration, and regression testing to identify and fix issues.
• Diagnose and resolve performance bottlenecks and system-level bugs.

Project Management

• Lead and oversee Odoo development projects from planning through delivery.
• Coordinate with project managers, business analysts, and key stakeholders.
• Track project milestones, assess risks, and apply mitigation strategies.

Required Skills & QualificationsExperience

• 5–7 years of hands-on experience in Odoo development.
• Expertise in Odoo frameworks and custom module development.
• Experience working with Odoo versions v10–v17 (or the latest).

Technical Skills

• Proficient in Python, JavaScript, XML, HTML, CSS, and PostgreSQL.
• Strong understanding of Odoo ORM, workflows, business logic, and report development.
• Experience with RESTful APIs, web services, and third-party integrations.
• Deep knowledge of Odoo’s front-end and back-end architecture.
• Hands-on experience with Odoo.sh, Odoo Enterprise, and Git.
• Strong understanding of business processes and ERP systems.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
• Experience in mentoring and guiding junior developers.

Soft Skills

• Strong problem-solving abilities and independent working style.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
