Senior Odoo Developer

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Senior Odoo Developer to design, develop, and

implement customized solutions within the Odoo ERP platform. The ideal candidate will

have strong expertise in Odoo architecture, module development, and system integration,

along with the ability to lead technical decisions and mentor junior developers.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and customize Odoo modules (both backend and frontend)
• Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical solutions
• Integrate Odoo with third-party systems via APIs (REST, XML-RPC, etc.)
• Optimize system performance and ensure scalability
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues across the platform
• Lead code reviews and enforce best development practices
• Manage Odoo deployments, upgrades, and migrations
• Work closely with functional consultants and stakeholders
• Mentor junior developers and contribute to team growth
• Maintain technical documentation and version control (Git)
  
  

Required Skills & Qualifications

5+ years of experience in Odoo development

Strong knowledge of Python and Odoo framework

Experience with PostgreSQL (queries, optimization, performance tuning)

Solid understanding of Odoo ORM, MVC architecture, and security

Experience In

• Custom module development
• QWeb reports and templates
• Odoo web client (JavaScript, OWL preferred in Odoo 17)
  
  

Familiarity with Linux environments (Ubuntu preferred)

Experience with Git workflows (branches, PRs, conflict resolution)

Knowledge of API integrations and web services

Strong debugging and problem-solving skills

Understanding of business domains (Inventory, Accounting, HR, etc.)

Ability to work independently and in a team environment

Analytical thinking and attention to detail

Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines

Nice to Have

Odoo certification

Experience with longpolling, workers tuning, and server optimization
