Senior Odoo Engineer

We are looking for an Odoo Techno-Functional Consultant with 2 to 6 years of experience who can bridge the gap between technical development and functional implementation. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of the Odoo framework, hands-on experience in Python development, and a deep knowledge of Odoo modules. Additionally, expertise in AI enhancement for business process automation will be a plus.

Key Responsibilities:

• Requirement Gathering & Analysis: Understand customer requirements and analyze the gap between existing Odoo functionalities and business needs.
• Odoo Development: Develop and customize Odoo modules using Python, XML, and JavaScript.
• Database Management: Work with PostgreSQL for database management, performance tuning, and optimization.
• Customization & Integration: Customize Odoo workflows and integrate third-party applications to enhance system capabilities.
• AI Enhancements: Implement AI-driven solutions for automation, predictive analytics, and intelligent decision-making within Odoo.
• Code Review & Optimization: Analyse
• existing code and adapt it to meet new business requirements efficiently.
• Technical Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve issues related to Odoo functionality, workflows, and system integrations.
• Training & Documentation: Provide user training, create technical documentation, and assist in system deployment.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Technical Skills:
• Strong proficiency in Python, XML, and JavaScript for Odoo development.
• In-depth knowledge of the Odoo framework and its core modules.
• Experience with PostgreSQL database management.
• Understanding of object-oriented programming, object modeling, and relational databases.
• Familiarity with Unix/Linux environments.
• Hands-on experience in integrating Odoo with third-party applications.
• Knowledge of AI/ML technologies to enhance Odoo functionalities is a plus.
• Functional Skills:
• Ability to analyze business processes and translate them into Odoo configurations.
• Strong understanding of Odoo workflows, reporting, and user role management.
• Experience in handling Odoo migrations and upgrades.
• Knowledge of accounting, inventory, sales, and procurement modules in Odoo is desirable.
• Soft Skills:
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience as a Python Developer or Java Developer for at least 2 years.
• Prior experience working as an Odoo Functional or Technical Consultant.
• AI-based automation experience is an added advantage.
