Senior Officer/ Officer - Quality Assurance

United King Foods is hiring a Quality Control Officer for our food manufacturing facilities in Karachi. This role is ideal for candidates with experience in FMCG, Food Production, Quality Assurance (QA), and Quality Control (QC) who are confident working in a factory environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct quality inspection of raw materials, packaging, and finished goods
• Perform in-process quality checks on the production floor
• Ensure compliance with GMP, food safety, hygiene, and regulatory standards
• Verify labeling accuracy including shelf life, weight, batch coding, and allergen information
• Use lab testing equipment and measuring tools for quality verification
• Maintain quality documentation for audits and compliance
• Perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and implement CAPA for non-conformities
• Coordinate with Production, Supply Chain, and Procurement regarding quality issues
• Support internal audits and retail quality checks when required
• Preferably have hands-on experience in container loading operations

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Microbiology, Chemistry, or relevant field
• 2–3 years of experience in Quality Control / Quality Assurance in FMCG or Food Industry
• Strong knowledge of GMP, HACCP, food safety standards, and documentation
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
• Willingness to work rotational shifts
• Karachi-based candidates preferred

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Rs55,000.00 - Rs60,000.00 per month
