Human Capital HR Solutions is hiring on behalf of its client in the General Insurance sector for the position of Senior Officer – Underwriting, based in Lahore.

This opportunity is ideal for early-career professionals looking to build strong expertise in underwriting, risk evaluation, and insurance operations within a structured and growth-focused environment.

Experience Required: 1 to 2 years

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in basic risk assessment and review of insurance policies
  • Support in preparation of quotations and insurance proposals
  • Maintain underwriting documentation and ensure accurate data entry
  • Develop understanding of insurance products and assist in analysis
  • Ensure compliance with underwriting guidelines and coordinate with sales and operations teams
  • Support in basic claims review and loss ratio analysis
  • Prepare reports using Microsoft Excel with accuracy and attention to detail
  • Maintain effective communication and teamwork across departments

Requirements:

  • 1 to 2 years of experience in underwriting (General Insurance preferred)
  • Minimum Bachelor’s degree
  • Basic understanding of insurance and underwriting concepts
  • Strong Microsoft Excel and reporting skills
  • Good communication and coordination abilities
  • Willingness to learn and grow in the underwriting field
