Unlike a typical field role, you will be the exclusive, daily face of Leap Managed IT for one of our premier clients in Madison, IN.
The Role
As a Dedicated On-Site IT Support Specialist, you are more than just a technician; you are the client’s trusted technology partner. You will be stationed on-site in Madison, IN, every Monday through Friday, serving as the primary point of contact for all technical needs.
This role requires a blend of high-level technical skill and "concierge-level" communication. You will be responsible for everything from day-to-day desk-side support to participating in strategic technology update meetings with client leadership.
What You’ll Do (Responsibilities)
- Primary Client Liaison: Act as the dedicated, single point of contact for the client, managing their expectations and ensuring total satisfaction.
- Desk-Side Support: Provide immediate, high-touch technical assistance directly at the user's workspace.
- Technology Strategy: Attend and contribute to regular technology update meetings, helping the client align their IT infrastructure with their business goals.
- Hardware Lifecycle Management: Lead the installation, configuration, and deployment of all user hardware (workstations, laptops, peripherals).
- First-Level Network Support: Perform initial troubleshooting and maintenance of the client’s local network to ensure maximum uptime.
- On-Site Execution: Lead on-site projects, including workstation refreshes and local infrastructure updates.
- Infrastructure Support: Manage account portals and handle physical hardware (ability to lift 50 lbs required, stand on a ladder).
Who You Are (The Ideal Candidate)
- Seasoned Professional: You have 5+ years of experience in IT Help Desk, desktop support, or network administration.
- Reliable & Present: You are committed to being on-site in Madison, IN, Monday through Friday, providing a consistent and dependable presence.
- Committied to Service: You have a proven track record of providing "concierge-level" service and can translate complex technical issues into clear solutions for non-technical users.
- Strategic Thinker: You are comfortable sitting in on business meetings and providing technical insights that drive value.
- Certified: You hold a CompTIA Network+, Security+, or similar industry certification.
- Problem Solver: You don’t just fix symptoms; you find the root cause and implement long-term solutions.
