Job Summary:
We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Senior Operation Executive to oversee and enhance our daily operational activities. The ideal candidate will have experience in order processing, vendor management, logistics coordination, and customer service. This role is critical in ensuring seamless operations, cost efficiency, and customer satisfaction across all touchpoints.
Key Responsibilities:
Order & Shipment Management:
- Process and manage orders using the VPLAK Admin portal.
- Coordinate pickups and deliveries, ensuring compliance with GST regulations.
- Monitor shipments, resolve delivery delays, and ensure timely dispatch.
Vendor & Courier Management:
- Research, evaluate, and negotiate with vendors to ensure optimal procurement and adherence to company protocols.
- Maintain strong relationships with courier services and resolve COD remittances, weight disputes, and billing issues.
Customer Service & Communication:
- Address customer inquiries via calls, emails, and WhatsApp with high responsiveness.
- Ensure communication standards meet service level agreements (SLAs).
Strategic Operations Planning:
- Work closely with senior management to establish and execute strategic operational goals.
- Contribute to long-range planning and policy development.
Budgeting & Expense Control:
- Assist in creating and managing the organization’s operating and capital budgets.
- Monitor and control expenses to maintain budget efficiency.
Performance Monitoring:
- Oversee the performance of internal teams and external service providers.
- Ensure high facility standards and stakeholder satisfaction.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in operations, preferably in e-commerce or logistics.
- Strong vendor management skills, including negotiation and relationship building.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Prior experience in handling teams and cross-functional coordination.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to operational accuracy.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently and make quick, informed decisions.
- Familiarity with GST laws and courier service operations is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or related field.
- 1–3 years of relevant experience in operations or logistics roles.
- Proficiency in MS Office and ERP/order management systems.
