Position Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and results-oriented Senior Platform Developer to lead enterprise-grade Oracle cloud development for public sector programs. You will be a key contributor in building scalable, secure, and mission-critical solutions.

This role demands advanced proficiency in:

  • Oracle Engagement Cloud (Fusion)
  • Oracle Intelligent Advisor (OIA)
  • Oracle Visual Builder Studio (VBS)
  • Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI)
  • Oracle Identity and Access Management (IDCS)

Key Responsibilities

Application Design & Development

  • Develop and enhance Oracle Engagement Cloud using Groovy and JavaScript.
  • Design enterprise data models following Boyce-Codd/Inmon and Kimball methodologies.
  • Build policy-driven workflows with Oracle Intelligent Advisor.
  • Implement self-healing operational data stores and dynamic recovery logic.

Cloud Infrastructure & Integration

  • Configure and manage Oracle Cloud Infrastructure environments.
  • Integrate systems using secure REST/SOAP APIs and Postman.
  • Utilize Oracle IDCS for SSO, RBAC, and federated identity management.

Analytics & Reporting

  • Develop KPI dashboards, reports, and subject areas in OTBI and BI Publisher.
  • Build data pipelines supporting normalized/denormalized integration flows.

DevOps & Release Management

  • Use Azure DevOps for CI/CD, versioning, and story tracking.
  • Implement YAML-based workflows for advanced deployment automation.

Programmatic Support & Business Alignment

  • Support Oracle-based solutions for federally and state-funded energy programs.
  • Translate business needs into scalable, high-performing technical solutions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including PMs, BAs, and SMEs.

Documentation & Governance

  • Produce technical documentation (architecture, specs, deployment guides).
  • Ensure compliance with HIPAA, SOX, NIST, GDPR, and internal governance standards.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Experience: At least 3 years of Oracle Cloud application development experience.

Required Technical Skills

  • Oracle Fusion/Engagement Cloud (REST/SOAP, Application Composer)
  • Oracle Intelligent Advisor (interview flows, policy models)
  • Oracle Visual Builder Studio (UI/UX with Groovy & JavaScript)
  • Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (networking, provisioning, monitoring)
  • Oracle IDCS (OAuth2, SAML, federated identity)
  • OTBI / BI Publisher
  • Postman (API integration/testing)
  • Azure DevOps (CI/CD, YAML, Git)

Preferred Qualifications

  • 3+ years of consistent hands-on work with Oracle CX and related tools.
  • Strong problem-solving, architectural design, and stakeholder communication skills.
  • Experience estimating technical efforts and managing workstream timelines.
  • Proficiency in articulating complex technical solutions to non-technical audiences.
