Job Purpose:


Ensuring the smooth operations of financial ERP systems, addressing technical issues, and providing support and guidance to end users while collaborating with related stakeholders to understand business needs and implement system enhancements to drive the overall effectiveness of financial systems.


Responsibilities:


  • Maintaining financial systems within Oracle Fusion environments by monitoring the availability, reliability, and performance of financial applications while adhering to the best practice and compliance requirements to ensure workflow efficiency.
  • Implementing incident/problem management and change management processes by identifying, analyzing, and resolving technical issues related to the implemented financial ERP system, as well as working closely with the support team and vendors as needed to ensure timely issue resolution and minimize business disruptions.
  • Collaborating with business stakeholders such as finance and accounting teams to understand their financial system requirements and challenges, and translating them into system enhancements, and customizations to ensure maximum and efficient system utilization.
  • Identifying opportunities to improve financial systems, such as process automation, data analytics, and reporting capabilities, by analyzing new features and functionality supplied by Oracle Fusion upgrades and releases, to provide recommendations and implementation in an efficient way.
  • Coordinating the system enhancements or upgrading with the support team and other stakeholders by planning and aligning the process to ensure minimal impact on the ongoing operations.
  • Conducting operations acceptance testing (OAT) and deploying ERP applications and financial modules by testing the business cycle, workflow, and all other elements to ensure the system meets business needs.
  • Providing end users with complete assistance and support by responding to their inquiries, issues, and concerns about financial systems, identifying the main cause, and handling errors and troubleshooting as needed to assure continuous system availability.
  • Collaborating with internal stakeholders to build and deliver user training programs and system implementation guidelines to ensure maximum system utilization.
  • Managing the vendor connection (associated with financial systems) by communicating with them and escalating complicated technical issues to be resolved in an efficient manner that ensures system availability and performance.
  • Staying up to date with the industry trends, best practices, and developing technologies in financial systems in order to identify and supply relevant solutions that improve business efficiency.
  • Documenting and communicating issue resolution, and proof of concepts in the knowledge base to ensure sharing knowledge access with the support team and end-user.
  • Providing full support to the end user, identifying the root cause, error handling, troubleshooting, and system monitoring to ensure the availability of the system at all times.


Qualifications and Skills:


  • A bachelor’s degree in finance, or a related field.
  • Finance and accounting background experience.
  • +5 years’ experience.
  • +3 years of financial functional consultant experience.
  • Knowledge of Oracle Fusion Financial Modules.
  • Oracle Fusion Training is a must.
  • Oracle Fusion Certificate is a plus.
  • Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) is a plus.
