Senior Oracle PL/SQL Developer

JD:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior PL SQL Expert to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in developing, optimizing, and leading a team in the creation of complex PL SQL procedures and functions. The candidate should also possess knowledge of .Net Core API development and source control versioning to provide added advantage in contributing to our technology ecosystem.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the development, and optimization of intricate PL/SQLprocedures and functions, ensuring performance, reliability,and scalability.

• Provide hands-on technical guidance and mentorship tojunior developers, aiding them in problem-solving and skillenhancement.

• Collaborate closely with business analysts, softwareengineers, and QA teams to comprehend requirements andtranslate them into effective database solutions.

• Perform thorough code reviews to guarantee code quality,adherence to best practices, and alignment with codingstandards.

• Analyse query execution plans, identify performancebottlenecks, and implement database tuning techniques toenhance overall system performance.

• Identify opportunities for process automation andoptimization within the database development life cycle.

• Stay up to date with the latest advancements in PL/SQL anddatabase technologies and share insights with the team.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, InformationTechnology, or related field. Master's degree is a plus.

• Min 10 year of Experience Oracle PL/SQL Advanced + Experience as Team lead and above

• Strong expertise in database design principles, queryoptimization, and performance tuning.

• Demonstrated leadership skills with experience in guiding andmentoring junior team members.

• Proficiency in .Net Core API development is a strongadvantage.

• Familiarity with source control versioning systems (e.g., Git)and their integration into the development workflow.

• Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities, coupledwith effective communication skills.

• Strong teamwork and collaboration skills in a fast-paced anddynamic environment.

• Relevant certifications, such as Oracle PL/SQL DeveloperCertified Professional, are desirable but not mandatory.

• Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and work independently with minimal supervision.
