Our clients span high-end food, beverage, hospitality, and lifestyle brands.

We are growing and looking for a Senior Graphic Designer who lives and breathes packaging.

The Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Graphic Designer with 5+ years of experience specifically in packaging design. This is not a general graphic design role. We need someone who understands packaging inside and out, from concept to rendering to production-ready files.

You must be confident leading design programs, pitching creative concepts to clients, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to bring complex packaging projects to life.

Responsibilities

• Lead packaging design projects from concept through production
• Brainstorm and develop design directions aligned with brand strategy
• Pitch design programs and creative concepts directly to clients
• Create custom dielines and prepare production-ready artwork files
• Produce high-quality 3D renderings and mockups – rendering is mandatory
• Collaborate with structural designers, production teams, and vendors
• Assist in pricing projects and understanding cost implications of design decisions
• Build and manage project timelines from concept to final delivery
• Oversee and guide other creatives to execute large-scale projects
• Ensure design intent is maintained throughout development and manufacturing

Qualifications & Requirements

• BA in Graphic Design preferred
• 5+ years of experience as a Senior Graphic Designer focused specifically on packaging
• Strong portfolio showcasing packaging from concept development through final renderings
• Proven ability to pitch and sell creative ideas to clients
• Proficient in InDesign CS5, Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and Microsoft Office
• Strong working knowledge of graphic design programs, typography, composition, color proofing, print processes, and project specifications
• Advanced understanding of materials, finishes, and structural packaging
• Experience creating custom dielines
• Exceptional rendering and presentation skills
• High level of initiative with the ability to work independently on multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
• Strong organizational, prioritizing, and analytical skills
• Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple deadlines under pressure
• Strong leadership and project management abilities

Important Notes

• YOU MUST have a strong packaging portfolio to be considered
• Portfolio must show packaging projects from conceptualization through rendering
• This is an on-site position in Pasadena, CA with one remote day per week. Do not apply if you are out of state or outside of the United States
• Non-negotiable on-site requirement
