Senior Parts Technology Engineer I

Job Summary

If you are a Parts Engineer, Emerson has an exciting role for you! We are looking for a Parts Technology Engineer to work with our North American Team. This role is responsible to create and maintain part structures, parts kits, global part tools, and analyze data collaborating across the organization for improvement opportunities.

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

  • You will learn and understand part structure, and the role of (EM’s) Engineering Master’s in part management.
  • Create and maintain global parts kits.
  • Troubleshoot reporting issues and maintain translation tables.
  • Understand and follow engineering standards and practices while working with Oracle and Engineering systems.
  • Create and maintain Power BI tools that help to summarize data and gain new insights into the business.
  • Mine data sources and complete data analysis to summarize, prepare, and present to management the key findings and trends.

You’re into the details and will leverage this information to bring new insights into our business. You relate comfortably with people across organizations, levels, functions, cultures, and geography.

For This Role, You Will Need:

  • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, Production or industrial engineering.
  • Preferred Two-Four years of experience.
  • Proficient in crafting professional documents, presentations, and communications
  • Experience in communicating at various levels of an organization

Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:

Experience in working with large data sets, product structures or similar.
