Position: Payroll Accountant (for Canadian clients)
Location: Onsite – Thokar Niaz Baig, Multan Road, Lahore
Working Hours: 06:00 PM – 03:00 AM (Monday to Friday)
Salary: PKR 100,000 – 160,000 (based on skills and experience)
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and process complete payroll cycles for multiple Canadian clients.
- Ensure payroll compliance with federal and provincial regulations, including CRA requirements.
- Review and reconcile payroll data, deductions, taxes, ROEs, T4s, T4As, and year-end processes.
- Maintain accurate payroll records, employee files, and documentation.
- Handle payroll inquiries professionally and communicate complex information clearly.
- Ensure timely payments, statutory remittances, benefits deductions, and reimbursements.
- Prepare payroll reports, analytics, and variance analyses for management review.
- Identify process gaps and implement payroll process improvements.
Requirements
- ACCA Qualified, Affiliate, or Part-Qualified (with at least 9 exams passed) or Bachelors/Masters in Accounting.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Canadian payroll management.
- Proven experience working with Canadian companies or CPAs.
- Strong understanding of Canadian payroll systems, legislation, and compliance.
- Proficient in QuickBooks online and Xero.
- Familiar with GAAP, Sales Tax and Corporate Taxes.
- Expertise in Bookkeeping, Monthly Closing, Accounts Payable, and Accounts Receivable Management.
English Communication:
- Excellent English communication both Speaking and writing
- English should be at least 7 out of 10 overall (please don't apply if your English communication is not good)
